# Claim your profile, correct your details

Your free profile and the facts we print about you, kept separate from the paid options, and all of it separate from what our editors write.

How it works

## Claim your free profile in about five minutes

1. **Find your profile.** Every business we track has one, whether or not it appears on a list.
2. **Prove it’s yours.** We call your listed number, mail a code to your address, or confirm an email on your website’s domain.
3. **Confirm your facts:** hours, phone, service area, languages, license number and the jobs you do.
4. **Done.** Your profile shows “Claimed by the business”, and you can update facts any time.

### What does it cost to claim my profile?

Nothing. Claiming, confirming your facts and sending corrections are free, and always will be.

### Will claiming or a paid option move me onto a list?

No. Every business in an edition is weighed the same way, claimed or not, paying or not. Paid options sit outside the lists and are labelled wherever they appear.

### We weren’t picked this edition. Can we apply for the next one?

There’s no application. Each new edition starts from every business we can find in the city, so you are considered again automatically. Keeping your public details complete helps.

### How do record checks get onto my profile?

We look up your state license and business registration ourselves. Send a current insurance certificate and we print its dates too, marked as a document you supplied.
